Automattic, the company behind WordPress, today announced the launch of the Jetpack AI Assistant.

Here are a few key points:

  • The Jetpack AI Assistant leverages artificial intelligence to assist with content creation within the WordPress environment. It integrates with the content management’s editor, aiming to provide a user-friendly interface.

  • Users can generate various types of content, such as blog posts, pages, lists, and tables.

  • The assistant allows customization of the text's tone, helping users achieve a desired style.

  • It also helps with title and summary creation, supports translation in multiple languages, and provides spelling and grammar correction features.

  • Self-hosted WordPress users can try the Jetpack AI Assistant for free, with 20 initial requests, and after that, it will be available for $10 per month. WordPress.com (a cloud-based version of the CMS) users can use the AI Assistant for free on all their sites for a limited time.
