Wireless 'power-at-a-distance' company Reach secures $30M Series B
The startup aims to simplify IoT frameworks
On December 2, California-based wireless "power-at-a-distance" startup Reach announced a $30 million Series B funding round led by VC firm DCVC.
Reach's commercial products aim to wirelessly supply hundreds of watts of electricity, link point-to-multipoint, and transmit across tens of meters. The company also has a government/defense division that creates solutions with higher autonomy.
Reach's leadership believes the technology will change how we power the billions of devices that comprise the Internet of Things (aka IoT).
Interesting concept. I'd like to see a few detailed case studies.
