YouTube achieved its best monthly performance in Nielsen’s February 2025 Media Distributor Gauge, capturing 11.6% of total TV viewing—an increase of 2% from January.

This marks YouTube’s highest share to date and its second time topping the rankings since Nielsen began tracking in 2023.
Over the past two years, YouTube’s TV viewership has grown by 53%, with notable increases among older demographics (65+ viewership nearly doubling).
FOX climbed to third place for the first time, driven by Super Bowl broadcasts and cable news viewership, securing an 8.3% TV share.
FOX Sports 1 also saw a 45% increase due to NASCAR events. Meanwhile, Disney lost two share points after a strong January fueled by NFL and College Football Playoffs.
