Following the demise of streaming service CNN+, many wondered what would become of its associated shows. But perhaps there is hope for some of them…
On May 18, TechCrunch reported that “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” will move to HBO Max and the linear CNN network sometime in the fall (of course both brands are part of Warner Bros. Discovery; aka CNN’s parent company). Also moving to good ol’ CNN are “Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico” and “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy.”
This could be a prequel to other CNN+ shows moving to other properties within the WBD group. Such would make sense as some of them potentially have a strong fit with both HBO Max and Discovery+ (think lifestyle/family audiences).
