KAI-GPT: A large language model for the banking industry
Westpac is in the process of implementing a solution based on it
On May 31, US-based Kasisto announced the launch of KAI-GPT, a banking-specific large language model (LLM) designed to meet the needs of the financial services industry.
Here are a few key points:
KAI-GPT powers Kasisto's generative AI application called KAI Answers, which strives to provide accurate and contextual answers to customer queries in a human-like conversational experience. More specifically, it aims to help bankers find, interpret, and understand information from various sources, such as policies, regulatory filings, processes, web content, and complex financial products.
It was trained on a large amount of financial data and can be customized for individual financial institutions using their unique data and content.
Westpac, Australia's oldest bank, is in the process of implementing KAI.
It is already being used by 47 financial institutions.
