Google today announced a set of generative AI tools for its Workspace applications, which include Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets as well as Slides.
Those include new methods to generate, summarize, and brainstorm content in Google Docs, the ability to generate whole emails in Gmail based on users' quick bullet points, and the capacity to generate images, audio, and video to explain presentations in Slides.
The novel tools will be made accessible to a set of "trusted testers" in the U.S. this month, and then to the general public later in the year.
